Dinner/Gift Wrap Fellowship

This night we will break from our normal Wednesday night programming to wrap gifts for the children of Joy Mission. Dinner will be served at 6 PM (beef and chicken tacos, chips, queso and dessert). There is no childcare, but children are welcome to attend with you. Adults/Youth $5, children FREE (max per family $20). Pay online HERE select Activity Fees / Wednesday Night

The youth will have their annual Christmas party from 6:30 – 8 PM in the Worship building. Remember to bring a gift for the gift exchange! The rest of us will wrap gifts for Joy Mission Center after we clean up.

We have 10 large plastic bags of presents here at the office ready to be wrapped. We think we need at least 20 adult volunteers to finish within an hour. We have scissors, tape and wrapping paper on hand, but a little extra paper wouldn’t hurt if you can bring some! We could also use some cardboard boxes you may have laying around for odd shaped presents.

Stock the Pantry

The food pantry at Joy Mission is low on essential food items to support those in need in their community. We are a giving church, and I know after hearing that, you will want to help! Please bring with you some food items to donate to Joy when you come to wrap gifts. See a message from the mission center director:

Hello! Here are staples that we are always in need of:

Rice, beans, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, canned meat, canned fruit, canned veggies, canned soup

We would be extremely grateful for anything. God can do miracles with even a few fish and some bread. Thank you for having a heart for our ministry!
