The beginning of a vision, dream or calling is exciting, but the journey is often arduous. With the starting line far behind and the finish line nowhere in sight, another beginning quietly appears. It comes without celebration. It asks for no perseverance. It requires no finish line. It is the beginning… of abandonment.
