Cupcakes & Crochet
Ladies are invited to a time of fellowship and service as we crochet sleeping mats for people experiencing homelessness. This unique method reuses plastic grocery bags in place of yarn to create a durable, sanitary sleeping surface.
Don’t know how to crochet? Don’t worry! This video will teach you the two basic knots we will use. All are welcome regardless of crocheting experience. We’ll all learn and work it out together!
If you would like to participate, you will need to bring:
- Plastic grocery bags and a larger bag for storage
- A crocheting hook, size Q (16mm)
- Scissors
