“Just a Few More Things”

A farewell often reveals the depth of a relationship. It usually holds two things: the hope of reunion, expressed through careful instruction, and the affirmation of shared affection— such as the words, “I love you.” As Paul concludes his epistle to the church in Rome, his letter carries both.
