We see two people, Simeon and Anna, who were anxiously awaiting and anticipating the coming of the promised Messiah. God was faithful and they got to see Jesus, the Christ, and it led them to give thanks and worship God.

A young Jewish woman learns that Yahweh will overshadow her with His presence to bring about the redemption of the Jewish people and all of creation. Though first taken aback, she willingly takes the role of a prophetess and a priestess by quoting Isaiah, “Here am I…”. Are we willing to do the same?
