If we sin, then we experience a greater abundance of God’s grace. But, as believers we are to rid ourselves from sin. So, what is the answer? How do we experience the grace of God and not be hypocrites? How do we rid ourselves from sin knowing that perfection is not possible?

Staying out of the Grave

It is a common saying when people get older, “He has one foot in the grave.” It is an expression which jokingly implies the individual may be alive, but he is close to death. Paul wants to dispel the myth that you can live in both worlds of life and death. Believers have been given life, so why do we keep choosing death?

Is the resurrection of Jesus something you don’t believe? Or, maybe you reluctantly think it is plausible, but you are not sure. My friend, you are no different than Jesus’ Apostles, but later their belief became undeniable. Perhaps that is the real reason you are here this morning.
