How Does That Make You Feel?
Matthew 26:36-46 – Jim Stern
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

Welcome to the jungle of emotions! How skilled are you at healthy emotional processing? Why should you care? Every one of us has feelings every single day. How do we work through them so that they do not control us? Thankfully, Jesus, our teacher, models how to process our feelings so we don’t have to figure it out on our own.

Romans 8:12-17 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

Assurance vs Liberty
Romans 8:1-8 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

There is no condemnation, but the question now must be asked, does that lead to assurance or liberty? Far too often, that question has been answered poorly. The Apostle Paul wants to be clear, where we place our mind and how we live our lives, is a direct indication of where you stand before the Lord.

Romans 8:1-8 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

Where is the assurance? Aren’t those supposed to describe the life of a believer?”

In Defense of the Law, Part 5
Romans 7:14-25 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

If the law cannot save then the law cannot keep one saved. In addition, it is the law that arouses sinful passions. The question must be asked, “Is the law sin?” Why would a good God give us the law if it causes us to sin? What good is the law? Paul anticipates those types of questions and answers them in this passage.
