It’s Time To Do Nothing
Nehemiah 1:4-11 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

The idea of doing nothing feels guilty in our culture. When it comes to evangelism, and especially when it comes to ministry, “nothing” can’t be an option. But what if we are wrong? Nehemiah knew in such a time as this, when Jerusalem was in shambles, it was the perfect time to do nothing.

Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
[2 Corinthians 5:16-21] – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

This Sunday, we will begin a new series entitled “4xfour.” What is 4xfour, you ask? Great question! When dieting, people attempt to eat less and exercise more. Unless and until there is a mental change, motivation fades quickly. What if I told you the same is true about evangelism? Sharing the gospel is something we all know we ought to do, but it’s difficult, so we don’t. 4xfour is a fresh way to think about evangelism, and it WILL help each of us to follow through for the glory of God.

A King is Born
Psalm 72:10-11 & Matthew 2:1-12 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

For many, the idea of Jesus being born a child is not an issue. Believers often speak of Jesus coming to be our Savior. But, how many are willing to live knowing that the birth of Jesus was more than a child and savior? Christmas is also celebrating the birth of a King.

For This Reason
Luke 2:1-21 & 29-32 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

When we think of the celebration that surrounds the birth of a child, what comes to mind is the idea of being surrounded by family and loved ones. The birth of Jesus included a manger, animals, and the lowest members of society. How could that have possibly been God’s plan for the perfect birth and why was he here?

A Child Is Born – Part 2
Isaiah 34 & 35 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

Does Christmas make a difference? Does it make a difference today and does it make a difference in the future? The reality is that Christ makes the difference between hope and dread. Christ came to save you and if you reject Christ, salvation is upon self. God’s word is clear, apart from Christ, salvation is futile.

A Child Is Born – Part 1
Isaiah 9:1-7 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

The Gospel was coming. The Good News, Jesus Christ, Joy to the World, the Lord has come! Dark would become light. Mourning would turn to joy and peace without end. Does that describe the Christmas you celebrate? Is this simply another holiday to be endured or even enjoyed at the end of a long year before 2023 begins?
