As we journey through life, it is marked by phases or chapters. We conclude one, then move on to the next. But as we move on, we can reflect upon what was. John tells us that we have chapters in our spiritual life as well. We must be mindful of where we have been, but also where we are going.

Knowing vs. Doubting, Part 2

All of us want to know. Doubting is the worst. We doubt when our mind is suspended between two or more contradictory propositions and we are unable to be certain of any of them. Doubt leaves us feeling hopeless, helpless, and paralyzed, which is not the life God has planned for us.
