Knowing vs. Doubting, Part 2
1 John 2:1-6 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson
All of us want to know. Doubting is the worst. We doubt when our mind is suspended between two or more contradictory propositions and we are unable to be certain of any of them. Doubt leaves us feeling hopeless, helpless, and paralyzed, which is not the life God has planned for us.

1 Samuel 17 – Hugh Poland
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson

If . . . Then
1 John 1:5-10 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson
John doesn’t beat around the bush as he begins the body of his epistle (letter). With five deductive arguments, John makes it clear that one’s actions cannot be divorced from one’s spiritual direction. This is a problem that still plagues the church. We ought to heed God’s Word because perhaps, we are not who we think we are.
