Continuing the Journey
1 John 5:6-21 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson
John is finishing his letter, but the journey is not finished. John wants to emphasize what he has been telling throughout the book, but we are people who soon forget. John is reminding us and he is even giving us new evidence that what he has been saying is true. Let’s press on with confidence.

The Many After The First
Colossians 1:9-14 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson
When we begin something new often we hear, “That’s the first step.” As difficult as that first step is, we must take the second, third, and so on. Are you faithfully taking steps to grow in your knowledge of God? The Apostle Paul expects the Colossians and us to move forward, bearing fruit in every good work.

Overburdened or Overcomer
1 John 5:1-5 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson
Too much!!! That is what I hear when I talk to people about their schedules, responsibilities, commitments, and obligations. Their to-do list is simply too long and it keeps them up at night. But what if instead of being overburdened, you could be an overcomer? God’s word says that his children are to be overcomers.

Love – Towards Us, In Us and Through Us – Part 3
1 John 4:7-21 – Dr. Paul Lyle
Worship Leader – Mark Hudson
If love is such an integral part of being a believer, shouldn’t we be very careful to understand LOVE? What is the source? How does it work? What does it look like in practice? If we do not begin to grasp the love given to us, then how can we possibly give that same love to others? (Power Outage due to vandalism – no video available)
