It is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, who’s mission is to provide shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children around the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Even more so today, boys and girls around the world need to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. The process couldn’t be more simple:
- Find a shoebox (use your own or pick up a preprinted box at church)
- Decide on a girl or boy and age group
- Start collecting approved items for your box and fill it up
- Pray over the box
- Donate online to “follow your box”
